BART, (www.bart.gov, 510-465-2278,) and SamTrans (www.samtrans.com, 800-660-4287) are good ways to get to San Francisco, but from downtown you will need to transfer to MUNI to get to Fort Mason. From Marin County, Golden Gate Transit: www.goldengatetransit.org, (415) 455-2000 has lines which travel near Fort Mason, as well as frequent connections to the Muni 28 line.
