Georgia Stathis: Solstice Points and Other Timing Techniques
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Building C, Room C210
Solstice points, also known as Antiscia, are rarely used when looking for that special insight into a chart. They often give us that 'ah-ha' that we all look forward to as astrologers. In addition to exploring these points, Georgia will also incorporate using Decanates, beginning and ending degrees in progressions and solar arcs and other interesting details that often make or break the information clients receives in sessions. In other words, sometimes what you see, you don't see, and that makes all the difference in quality work. This is a fun yet educational presentation for all levels of learning.
Georgia Stathis is an internationally known business consultant and trends specialist, speaker and teacher for Kepler College. A licensed realtor associate since 1979, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University and her Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. She worked in sales, marketing, real estate and public relations prior to becoming full time astro-consultant. Her website, www.starcycles.com, includes MP3s on business and real estate and online business astrology classes.

Matt Savinar: Astrology of Covert Operations
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Building C, Room C210
Since 9/11 the Pentagon's classified budget has grown so exponentially that the classified world now comprises an entire empire within an empire, a $35 billion dollar ghost realm that exists all around us yet which we know almost nothing about. In this lecture we'll take a chilling road trip through a series astrological charts for "entities" which operate in the dark, above the law, and off all maps: hidden bases, clandestine missions, invisible organizations, black magick technologies, psychic spies, vanishing surveillance networks, shadow corporations, stealth banks, and top secret agencies which (officially) do not exist. This lecture will leave you looking at astrology, politics, and the hidden world around you in an entirely new light.
Each of these images is associated with a unit, organization, or government agency whose chart will be discussed. Ghost Riders and Grim Reapers, the Misty Ones and the Men in Black, who Cast No Shadows and Own the Night.
Matt Savinar was born and raised in California. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California at Davis. He received his law degree from the University of California at Hastings College of the Law, and is a California licensed attorney (now inactive). Matt is best known for his work on environmental and geopolitical issues. He writes at NorthBayAstrology.com and hosts a weekly astrology radio show on KOWS 107.3 FM out of Occidental, California. Adam Gainsburg: The Venus Phases
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Building C, Room C210
Rooted in the most ancient skywatching traditions and rendered for our modern times, the 13 Venus Phases signify the developmental necessity of getting larger than our personal needs to offer that which only we can: our unique gifts, tireless passion, and a full commitment to sharing them with the world.
In this lecture, Adam Gainsburg will present on the 13 Venus Phases: how they are delineated in both natal and mundane work, and the little-known celestial factors which link modern astrology to the very origins of the astrological tradition. He will explore Venus' broader and deeper dimensions of relationship and engaging higher energies with greater embodiment. Using the framework of a personal feminine dharma with which we are each imbued, he will explain how the combination of sky factors and sound astrological technique can broaden any astrology.
Adam's newest book, THE LIGHT OF VENUS, has become quickly popular for its ground-breaking synthesis of astronomical factors like speed, Earth proximity and brightness; psycho-spiritual maturity; and heart-centered vision. Adam is a popular lecturer, writer and teacher and has been called a bridge between differing astrologies perhaps due to his devotion to reifying the original human-sky communion within a post-postmodern context.
Adam Gainsburg is an author, teacher and consulting astrologer. He founded Soulsign Astrology to illuminate the sentient interface of astrology and astronomy through his active private practice and astrological training programs. His books include The Soul's Desire for Wholeness, Pluto & the Lunar Nodes and the popular Chiron: The Wisdom of a Deeply Open Heart. His most recent book, The Light of Venus, delivers a complete system for delineating the 13 Venus Phases. Adam also hosts a monthly podcast on the synodic cycles of Venus and Mars and offers advanced classes on many topics. He has presented his original research at conferences and chapters around the US and has contributed astrology articles for many astrology websites and newsletters. Adam is the creator of the Sky Engine software, the world’s first program for instantly finding planetary heliacal and synodic phases. Visit Adam's Website: www.SoulsignAstrology.com
